Every Christmas Eve, singers travel from far and near to overflow  Brattleboro’s largest pub with seasonal songs and harmonies that soar to the heavens and resound with the influence of Nowell Sing We Clear and the English pub carol tradition.

McNeill’s Brewery burned down in early December 2022. Beginning that year, the Whetstone River Garden Marketplace welcomed us in with open arms.

In December 2020, we were unable to gather because of the COVID pandemic, so we created a Xmas Eve VIRTUAL Pub Sing and livestreamed it for all to enjoy at our usual time on our usual day, 3pm on 12/24/2020, when we would have been at the pub. We gathered again virtually in 2021 for a sing-along watch party.

Forty pub singers contributed 185 videos and 252 audio recordings to this epic project, bringing twelve of our collective favorite Christmas songs to life in authentic pub-sing-style harmony. This video now resides on the Brattleboro Pub Sing YouTube channel.

We compiled these recordings into an epic singalong celebration of seasonal favorites led by Nowell Sing We Clear and others. May we all enjoy them for years to come.
